The Rovers picked up their first league win of the season, a great team performance all round with the goals shared around the players.
Despite going a goal down early on from a Teddlothian free kick, the boys got their game together and Rudy with the aid of a deflection, managed to loop a shot over the keeper to draw us level.
Not long after, some pinball in the box from a corner ended up with a Teddlothian player putting through his own net to put us in front and we never looked back. A free kick won on the left flank was launched in by Ollie P to the front post where Harrison attempted to get a touch but the ball carried on through and past the keeper who was expecting the touch. Towards the end of the half, Teddlothian broke through but a great save by Eliot meant we went in 3-1 up.
The boys were rocking and quickly in to the second half and Oskar picked the ball up not far outside the box and hit a brilliant shot in to the top corner to extend our lead. We continued to probe at the Teddlothian defence and peppered their goal but in a rare move forward, despite some desperate defending from Alex & Alfie, Teddlothian managed to squeeze a shot past Eliot at the near post. This gave Teddlothian some confidence and a corner shortly after came in, Eliot tried to get to it but was beaten by the height and Teddlothian looked like they had pulled another back but a fantastic clearance off the line kept our lead.
From there, it was all Sandhurst and a goal of the game from Harrison followed, a cross from the left was kept alive by Kaden who played back to Harrison on the right of the box, his first time shot in to the top left corner of the goal leaving the keeper no chance.
With Teddlothian heads down, Zouma turned on the skill and pace beating his defenders and scoring two quick fire goals to increase the score. The match playing out to a finish and the boys wining 7-2. Brilliant performance all round!!
