A tough loss for the Rovers and a depleted squad, missing Eliot, Alfie & Ollie B meaning that we went in to the game with just the one substitute and Sam Frost putting on the GK shirt to help the side out and playing a 3-5-2 formation!
It didn't start too well with Henley taking an early lead but the boys didn't let it get to them and pulled level with a great finish from Harrison after a lovely pass by Ollie P. From there we took control of the game, Frankie shielding the back 3 and allowing Oskar and Ollie P to push further up and Zouma and Rudy attacking the flanks like the previous week. Zouma almost got on the scoresheet but his effort was saved for a corner and the ball in from Oskar found the head of Alex who put it agonisingly wide.
From there Henley took back some control and scored two quick goals, the first a defensive mix up and the second a goal from a corner that Sam could do nothing about.
3-1 down at half time and the boys were down but not out of it. We had a couple of chances to get a goal back early on but the goal evaded us and a slightly dubious penalty to Henley that might have been pulled back for a handball in the build up meant we found ourselves 4-1 down.
Again the boys didn't give up and Zouma managed to pull a goal back after a goal kick from Sam found it's way to him. We then quickly followed up with another after good play from Kaden played Alex in down the right with a brilliant run and cross for Harrison to finish and score his second!! The boys pushed and harried to try and find the equaliser and they almost got it after Kaden chased down a pass back to the goalie, his clearance hitting Kaden and could have gone anywhere! The block by Kaden was his last action after taking the hit on his wrist which was later confirmed to be a fracture and so he will be out for a few weeks. We couldn't find that equaliser but on another day the boys could have walked away with the win.

Magic Moment: Sam Frost for going in goal for us, fantastic effort from him and played brilliantly. Distribution from goal kicks and out of hand were amazing and nothing he could have done about any of the goals, thanks Sam!!
MOTM: Frankie Payne - Had an absolute belter of a game in front of the back 3 and ran his socks off the whole game. Special mention for the diving block in the second half on the left wing!
